First of all, don’t use tricks. I don’t care what anyone says, tricks typically mean blackhat SEO. Then, your site will do well temporarily but over the long run, you will suffer.
Good SEO has two parts. Content optimization and backlink building. You do this consistently and you will see the results improve.
SEO techniques includes driving more visitors to the site, getting a page ranked in search engine. I promoted my website at http://www.seotuners.com after which many visitors started viewing my sites.
If you are new, you really need a good understanding of SEO. You cannot just use a couple tricks and expect to be an overnight success. Slow and steady wins the SEO race. A great place to start is with Google resources like Google WebMaster Tools and Google Analytics – Both have good YouTube channels that will get you started.
